South Food Crawl Series 2016: Mati's Meat and Bread
June 04, 2016Mati's Meat and Bread have a cozy vibe that you and your colleagues could relax while enjoying their scrumptious meals. A simple yet creatively designed restaurant. It is a two-story building, located at the riverside of Festival Mall their kitchen was located on the second floor while the dining area was on the ground floor, which makes the place spacious for all the guest. There is also an overlooking view of the man-made riverside which is pretty relaxing while your dining.
How's their Food?
Mati's was famous for their meats so we tried first their most intriguing starter which is their Balut Aligue (duck egg with an embryo in hardening fat of crabs). A literal "Putok-Batok" starter meal but it tastes heavenly. I've never known that Balut and Aligue could be such a good combination and you can only found it at Mati's.
We also tried their Vince's Chicken and Arugula salad, of course, we don't want to have a high blood after eating their Balut Aligue so this healthy salad is such good cholesterol counteragent. A savory salad that every health conscious should try out at Mati's.
I'm personally a fan of Mushroom Soups and Mati's is now included on my Whitelist on the most delicious mushroom soup that I've ever tasted.
I also ordered their refreshing Lemonade. Perfect for our feast.
Mati's also offers pizzas, pasta, and burgers! We tried their Mati's Double Burger which is the best burger I've ever tasted, it has a very meaty patty which is really awesome topped with grilled cheese and fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. Yummy!
For their Pizza, we tried their Tali's Gamberetti pizza. A savory cheesy thin crust pizza, but what I don't like about it is its shrimps, I don't know why but it doesn't suit my appetite. But this is pizza really delicious minus the shrimp, in my opinion :).
You should never miss trying out Mati's Steaks. I tried out steaks for a couple of times but it was my first time to try out a medium rare one which is a 400g Australian Ribeye Steak. An exciting thing about Mati's Steaks is that they pan grilled it in your diners table. How cool was that?
How's their service?
Their staffs were really accommodating and polite. It is somewhat a good thing makes it parallel to the perfect ambiance of the restaurant.
I highly recommend
