South Food Crawl Series 2016: Siam Noodle House
June 04, 2016
It was my first time trying out Thailand cuisines. At first, I really don't have any idea what it was like until I met Siam Noodle House in BF Homes Paranaque.
How's their Place?
Their place is a bit small yet quiet, providing every customer a peaceful environment whenever they dine. Their restaurant decors resemble Thailand culture with a touch of modernity. They also play a very calming Thailand Music that will make you feel as if you are actually in Thailand.
How's their Food?
Now I knew that Thailand cuisines' specialties are more on spicy food and noodle soup meals (Tom Yum). But the good thing about Thailand restaurants here in the Philippines is that you can request to adjust the spiciness of their meals depending on your appetite.
We first tried their quid rings with two sauce. I like it as our starter meal.
Next, we ordered Glass Noodle Salad which is one of my favorites. It is really yummy especially when you pour Thailand Fish Sauce in it and it tastes perfect.
They also served refreshing yet healthy juice drinks. I tried their Lemon Grass iced tea it may taste like ginger tea at first sip but it is really refreshing.
They have different varieties of Noodle Soups and we tried their three best sellers.
Green Curry Noodle soup is delicious and considering it has curry that I don't usually eat due to its very strong aroma but it made me ate a lot.
Shrimp Paste Surprise will really surprise you. We all knew that shrimp paste has also a strong aroma and it might be left in your mouth all day this one is different. It was like you are eating green mangoes dipped into the shrimped paste. You might find it a bit weird if you could imagine but you should really try it.
Crispy Pork Noodle Soup tasted just right. I prefer it for those who don't like trying out new noodle soup variants.
Spicy Beef Fried Rice has a really strong flavor and a bit empowers my appetite. Its good but I'm not really a fan.
I was surprised that they also served Tilapia. It is commonly seen in every Filipino household's table but Siam Noodle House made this simple Tilapia extraordinary. It is very crunchy yet delicious and it is perfectly paired with plain rice.
Seafood Basil is not meant for my taste buds. As I'm not really fond of strongly flavored cuisines and also, I don't like the taste of mussels.
Lastly, Thailand's famous Pad Thai. One of my favorites in Siam Noodle House. It's delicious and I could eat it all day.
Is it Affordable?
Compared to other international cuisines Thailand food I guess is the most affordable among others. Maybe because their ingredients can be easily found here in our country. Their price is really reasonable for the amount of food that they served.
I'll definitely go back here and eat again all of the Thailand Cuisines that I met here in Siam Noodle House.
